The National Congress of Dental Medicine for Students and Young Doctors, Dentim 2007, held under the aegis of The Days of Stomatology in Banat, was at its first edition and offered students and young doctors the possibility to express their observations and knowledge of various dental medicine areas, results of their scientific research, by presenting their own papers. Participants in the Congress also had access to the scientific communication sessions held by university professors and doctors from Timisoara, as well as to courses held by foreign guests, carried out during the Days of Stomatology in Banat.  

Among the objectives of the Congress were included: to present scientific papers, written by dental medicine students of all school years, and by young doctors, presented during the scientific communication sessions, participants to up-date their knowledge and find out new information trough courses held by university professors from U.M.F. Timisoara and acknowledged doctors from and outside the country, courses held during the Stomatology Days in Banat, to display the latest products, techniques and approach methods of specialized companies, through two workshops and a sale exposition, held throughout the Congress, and to create a proper environment for knowledge exchange and socialization between the participants in the Congress.
