During the last decades, the evaluation of health needs has become an important tool of project management in the public health area. There are a number of methods and techniques which are applied in the scientific research of health needs. These tools are used to determine the health needs in a given population, the results leading to a better categories: health system rates/indicators, inquiry-and consensus-based techniques.
