This article brings
proof regarding the benefits of antiplatelet therapy
which definitely exceed the risk of haemorrhagic
complications in a certain category of patients’
with different clinical manifestations of
cardiovascular conditions.
The association of
certain risk factors (age over 60, smoking, the
presence of Helicobacter Pylori) increases the rate
of side effects, especially gastrointestinal ones,
after the administration of antiplatelet medication.
